1. What operating systems are compatible with your software?

We will provide support for all Do Process applications running on Microsoft Windows® 7, 8 and 10.

Please note that our support depends on the support provided by Microsoft, as described in their January 15, 2016 communication.  For example:

* Microsoft will now stop support for installations of Windows 7 or Windows 8 if they are on new or upgraded computers running the latest chips from Intel, AMD or Qualcomm.

* Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 7 and Windows 8 on Intel's current generation "Skylake" processors, with some exceptions (refer to the communication)

    2. What word processing software can I use?

    We will provide support for Microsoft® Word 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016.

      3. How do I install the software?

Once your online order has been processed, you will be sent an initial email detailing how to download and install the server portion of BC Estate Planning. All instructions for installing and creating users are included in this email. Once the server portion is complete, a second email will be sent automatically to all users detailing how to install the workstation portion of the application.

      4. Do I need my own technician to install the software?

Only if you do not have administrative rights to your server and/or workstations. If you have any questions/issues with any step in the installation process, Customer Support Agents are available to assist you.

A record is charged when it is first created. Any changes to the record after creation are not charged

Charges for each record will appear as a cumulative total on your monthly invoice, together with charges from other Do Process applications. An application called the “Invoice Reader” is located under the Help>Licensing menu. After receiving your monthly invoice and sending one cheque to Do Process to cover all account activity, you can open the Invoice Reader program, select the invoice number, and see all the records to which the invoice applies.
